***Blood and Chicken Channel Catfish Bait***

    Alex
    East Texas

Tired of catching all those small channel cats and wanna go for the big boys?

This bait has proved to pull in some big cats for me.

The day before fishing, go out and buy about two pounds of chicken livers, the kind with the blood, as well pick up three packs of chicken breasts, comes 4 breasts to a pack.

Take the chicken livers, blood and all, place in a blender and blend till a smooth mixture.

Now on a cutting board take the chicken breasts and slice long ways down the middle one time.

That should give you 24 thick slices in total, now cut each slice in half cross ways. There for giving you 48 cuts of meat.

Take a fork and puncher the meat a few times. You can do this before slicing them in half if you like.

Now place the chicken liver blood in a one gallon ice cream bucket, or some thing of the like and place the cut chicken in the blood in the bucket. Mix well and cover.

    Chill over night.

NOTE: Some might think the pieces are rather large cut, but if you want to catch bigger fish, then you got to use bigger bait. Just think of it as giant chicken livers with out the droopy mess. A size 2/0 hook or larger works great for this cut. Be ready to hang on to your fishing poles!
